In recent years, the arrival of "new space" has caused a shift from the manufacturing of single and small series of satellites to large-scale industrialisation, and the sale of services rather than systems.

The conference will take place on October 1 and 2 in ESA ESTEC (Noordwijk, the Netherlands), with oral presentations interspersed with breaks for discussion. The conference will be held in person and in English.
