This webinar will follow on from the REACH awareness session being held on 28 January. It is strongly recommended to attend that session first if you are unfamiliar with the EU chemicals regulation, REACH.
Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is a major piece of legislation of the European Union (EU). It was adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by hazardous chemicals, while at the same time enhancing competitiveness and innovation.
This course introduces the ECSS E-10 discipline to the course participants.
Course contents:
- Knowledge of the ECSS E-10 System Engineering Discipline
- Utilisation of the E-10 standards within ITTs (what is for SRD, SOW, etc)
- Overall ECSS picture of the E-10 System Engineering discipline together with the E and M standards
- Understanding of data modelling

This training course will take place on 28 - 30 October at ESA/ESTEC (Noordwijk, The Netherlands). It is an on-site course, remote participation will not be possible.
