This course introduces the ECSS E-10 discipline to the course participants.

Course contents:

• Knowledge of the ECSS E-10 System Engineering Discipline
• Utilisation of the E-10 standards within ITTs (what is for SRD, SOW, etc)
• Overall ECSS picture of the E-10 System Engineering discipline together with the E and M standards
• Understanding of data modelling

For each of the standards from the E-10 ECSS Discipline, the following is presented:

• description of the content
• guidelines for tailoring
• examples of applicability and Agency practices

The objective of this course is to present the E-10 System Engineering ECSS discipline as well as the link between E-10 standards and the other E and M standards. It will also cover their utilisation and tailoring within ESA invitations to tender and requests for quotation.
